  • Tap Legacy™ brings the first ever tap jam to Webster Hall in celebration of Gregory Hines’ birthday, featuring the Patience Higgins Trio.
  • Dancetime Productions partners with Tap Legacy™ to produce the DVD Tap Dance History: From Vaudeville to Film.
  • Tap Legacy™ presents the Tap Legacy Exhibits.

2010

  • Tap Legacy™ launches the 4th Tribute Website, LeRoyMyers.org, on LeRoy’s Birthday.
  • The Tap Legacy™ Facebook Page launches with daily postings of tap dance trivia and historical film clips.

2009

  • Tap Legacy™ celebrates 7th Anniversary with the launching of One In A Million capital campaign, special screening of the movie TAP (20th anniversary), and a champagne reception (in celebration of Gregory Hines’ 63rd Birthday).

  • Tap Legacy™ launches HenryLeTang.org tribute website, in honor of Dr. LeTang’s 92nd birthday.
  • At the request of the family Tap Legacy™ presents Dr. Henry LeTang – A Birthday Celebration (a memorial)
  • Tap Legacy™ establishes the Henry LeTang Fund, for the continued promotion of the LeTang legacy and tap dance as a choreographic art form.
  • Tap Legacy™ presents the 2007 Finger Lakes Tap Dance Festival, hosted by Ithaca College.
  • Tap Legacy™ launches GregoryHines.org tribute website.

2006

  • Tap Legacy™ presents a commemorative plaque in honor of LeRoy Myers at Showmans Jazz Club, Harlem, New York.
  • Tap Legacy™ launches a revamped website celebrating James “Buster” Brown’s birthday and Tap Legacy’s two year anniversary online.
  • Tap Legacy™ co-produces the First Annual Finger Lakes Tap Dance Festival.

2005

  • Tap Legacy™ produces Harold Cromer’s Opus One presented in Mr. Cromer’s honor and with his permission as part of the Tap Extravaganza, Fashion Institute of Technology Haft Auditorium, New York City, NY (in association with the New York Committee to Celebrate National Tap Dance Day).
  • Tap Legacy™ releases the first edition of the Tap Legacy Reference Catalogue
  • Tap Legacy™ receives an in kind donation of a one-of-a-kind tap instrument from Dodger Stage Holding Theatricals, Inc., made possible through a strategic partnership with Harariville Recording Studios.
