Tap History DVD

Produced by Dancetime Publications, this unique compilation DVD reveals rare original footage from Soundies and short films showing tap dance of the 1930s and 40s. These films are enhance by valuable narration describing the background of the era with its legendary performers such as Bill “Bojangles” Robinson, The Berry Brothers, and Will Mahoney. This one-of-a-kind DVD was made possible through a collaboration between Dancetime Publications, Celluloid Improvisations Music Film Archive, and the Tap Legacy Foundation.
